Hi, I’m Dawn…

I’m a lifelong creative with a passion for bringing ideas to life. My love for creativity started in 4-H, where I learned to knit, sew, cook, and explore leatherwork. From making my own clothes in high school to earning recognition for my intricate knitwear, I’ve always found joy in creating with my hands. In 2014, I returned to my roots in creativity to leathercraft again, designing leather and metal bracelets with magnetic or easy on/off clasps. Each piece is thoughtfully made using only high-quality materials, including genuine leather and zinc plated with 99.9% sterling silver (free of lead, nickel, cadmium) making them hypoallergenic, ensuring both style and durability. What began as a personal project soon grew into Cream City Creations. Today, I’m proud to share my handcrafted pieces at artisan markets across southeastern Wisconsin.

My creativity doesn’t stop with leatherwork. Cream City Events, my small event planning business, is where I plan and coordinate outdoor artisan markets and faith-based events, bringing communities together to celebrate local talent, craftsmanship and faith. With a strong background in hospitality, education, and leadership, I bring a blend of creativity and organization to everything I do. Whether I’m designing leather and metal bracelets for Cream City Creations or planning vibrant events through Cream City Events, my experience helps me craft meaningful experiences and lasting connections.

Every creation and event I’m part of is a reflection of my love for craftsmanship and community. I’m grateful to share this passion with you and invite you to explore all that Cream City Creations and Cream City Events have to offer.
